ESCAPE began as a simple idea and has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of. I’m Erick, and together with my husband Christopher — and our two dogs, Hendrick and Genevier — we are continuing to build CurateYourEscape.com as a home for thoughtfully selected jewelry, lifestyle goods, and bespoke travel experiences that help you live more beautifully and intentionally.
OUR STORY
Though we came from very different careers, Christopher and I discovered a shared passion early in our relationship: travel, thoughtful design, and the hunt for premium, one‑of‑a‑kind lifestyle pieces. Those common threads—curiosity, craftsmanship, and a love of beautiful things—became the blueprint for everything we do.
We married in 2019 and made our first home in Hamilton, Ontario, where we balanced careers, family, and planning for the future. In 2023 we chose to uproot and chase a new chapter—months on the road across the U.S., chasing new skylines and warm sunsets—until Palm Springs, California called to us. There, inspired by the light, landscape, and creative energy, we doubled down on building ESCAPE into a brand that reflects our tastes and values.
Since planting roots in Palm Springs, we’ve worked tirelessly to grow the business: curating collections, forging artisan partnerships, and refining our travel offerings. We sell primarily online, bringing carefully chosen jewelry, home goods, skincare, and culinary treats to discerning customers worldwide. We’re also honored to bring ESCAPE directly to clients through in‑person, private luxury trunk shows—featuring our jade, pearls, and silver—aboard Princess Cruises and at other exclusive events. Each step feels like a continuation of our journey: combining discovery, design, and a commitment to exceptional experiences.

JADEscape: Rooted in my (Erick’s) Guatemalan heritage and nearly 15 years in the gem trade, our JADEscape collection celebrates genuine Type A jadeite and nephrite reimagined in modern designs inspired by ancestral motifs. We partner with artisans in Antigua, Guatemala to honor tradition, ensure responsible sourcing, and reinvest in the communities connected to this stone.
