Philodendron

This 100-knot hand-knotted rug was made in Nepal with an undyed hemp field and banana silk elements. The design is based on a leaf that Barbara Barran found in Florida. The smooth, shiny silk plays off of the rough-looking texture of the hemp. This would make a lovely accent rug.
